whatever it is, it's really interesting and uses a really pleasing and fitting style!!!!

the fact that there's actual moral ambiguity beyond the normal brutality of madness is so nice, as is the slower pace of this. still pretty damn brutal, but it feels much more grounded imo (esp considering the protag overestimating that fall at the beginning)
and that's not even mentioning the super cool setting!!!!!!
